The Startup Lounge
The Startup Lounge is a free, culturally affirming space in downtown Seattle where Black youth and young adults can connect, create, and grow as entrepreneurs. The Lounge blends business education with artistry, creativity, community, and culture.
It serves as both an incubator and a gathering place—equipping emerging entrepreneurs with the tools, mentorship, and inspiration they need to launch and sustain their ideas while celebrating the power of Black identity, expression, and innovation.
Rooted in music, creativity, and community, the program combats social isolation, fosters entrepreneurial growth, and promotes economic empowerment while celebrating Black excellence.
By activating Seattle’s Spark Block, the Startup Lounge infuses energy and vibrancy into the area, transforming it into a hub for innovation, collaboration, and cultural expression — contributing to the city’s downtown revitalization efforts.
